Safe and Accessible Travel with Aussie Complete Care

At Aussie Complete Care, we’re dedicated to helping people with disabilities travel safely, independently, and confidently—no matter the destination or mode of transport.

Our NDIS Travel and Transport services are designed to make it easier for you to engage in community, social, and everyday activities. Whether it’s attending appointments, visiting friends, or completing daily tasks, we’re here to support your independence and help you achieve your personal goals.

Understanding NDIS Transport Funding

The NDIS offers several options to help participants access safe and reliable transport. Depending on your individual needs, your plan may include one or more of the following:

Transport Budget

This funding supports travel through taxis, rideshares, community transport, or other registered transport providers.

It’s available for participants who cannot use public transport—such as buses or trains—due to their disability.

Payments are made fortnightly to your nominated bank account and are part of your Core Supports (Transport Allowance) in your NDIS Plan.

Annual Transport Budget

The amount you receive depends on how often you need to travel and the level of support required.

To reflect this, the NDIA has established three funding levels, helping participants stay connected to their communities and enjoy greater independence.

Personalised Travel Assistance with Aussie Complete Care

At Aussie Complete Care, our dedicated support workers provide personalised travel assistance tailored to your individual needs, helping you stay active, connected, and independent. We’re here to make every journey safe, comfortable, and stress-free—so you can focus on living life your way.

We Can Transport and Accompany You To:

The chemist or pharmacy
Grocery shopping trips
Medical or specialist appointments
Rehabilitation and therapy sessions
Community, social, or group activities
Local parks, libraries, or recreational venues
Any other place or event that helps you stay connected to your community

Capacity Building for Independent Travel

At Aussie Complete Care, we believe that independence starts with confidence. One of the key goals of the NDIS is to help participants develop the skills and ability to travel safely and independently—and we’re here to make that possible.

Through Capacity Building (Improved Daily Living) supports, the NDIA may fund services designed to help you gain greater freedom, mobility, and confidence in your daily travels.
